November Coaching Challenge - Gratitude!

I periodically offer challenges in Nancy’s Neighborhood (one of my coaching community Facebook groups - think Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood for grownups) with the intent of helping us all build new healthy habits. This challenge is going to focus on gratitude. Why? Well, because focusing on what is going well instead of what we are worried about is a great way to improve our health and overall well-being. And it’s free!

Do you want to join me? Check out the details below!

November Gratitude Challenge

When: 11/1 - 11/30

How it Works

The challenge focuses on seeking out things to be grateful for in your daily life. Rather than listing general items, you will be focusing on specific things that occur in your day to be grateful for. The goal will be to share at least one thing that made you grateful every day of the challenge. You can record your gratitude item in a journal and/or share it in our community chat.

A simple example - My partner, Ryan, makes me avocado toast for breakfast. I might take a photo of my breakfast to share in the chat or write it down in my journal (or both). To deepen the experience of love that gratitude creates, I might also express my gratitude to the avocado tree and the wheat, to the people who gathered the plants and made the food, to those who delivered it to the store and to those involved in its sale - and of course to Ryan for cooking it. The more gratitude I feel, the more love I spread.

And to create an even more powerful experience, you could continue looking for what to be thankful for all day long!

How to Get Signed Up

If you are already in our group chat, then just reply to the post there to let me know you are in. If you aren’t in Nancy’s Neighborhood and would like to be so you can join the chat, request to join this private group and I’ll get you added. I don’t approve people I don’t know if they haven’t answered the questions, so be sure to do that if we haven’t met yet.

If you want to do the challenge on your own and not be a part of the chat, that’s fine too, though I will say it is a lot of fun getting to connect with each other. Plus, it keeps you more accountable. Either way, I hope you join me!
