Mountain Climbing Miracle

Years ago, when my son was still little, my family took a trip to Acadia National Park. We went with my aunt and uncle, along with a good friend of mine – Michelle.

For those who haven’t visited this amazing park, it is a stunning place. Gorgeous mountain views over the ocean and lakes, blueberries everywhere, and lovely, quaint villages. It is still one of my all-time favorite places.

On this trip, my Uncle Jerry was in some pain. He’d had an accident at his job as an airline mechanic that had messed up his leg. Uncle Jerry has always been a doer, not one to sit around, so the idea of not being able to climb mountains with the rest of us led to him agreeing to something he normally wouldn’t. He let Michelle and I practice the Reiki we’d been learning on his injured leg..

We worked on him for about 45 minutes, and I know he didn’t hold out much hope it would make any difference. Honestly, I wasn’t sure it would either. But guess what? He got up after our treatment and set off walking – and kept going right up the nearby mountain.

His leg was healed.

These days, I don’t do energy sessions on others, but I do teach people how to work with their own energy system. I have found this knowledge is the most important self-care tool I’ve learned because it helped me connect with my own energy system and body, giving me the power to support myself no matter what I’m experiencing. Reach out if you’d like to learn more (or if you have a small group of loved ones or friends who would like to learn together over Zoom). I love doing intuitive energy assessments and teaching techniques from the many different energy modalities I’ve studied over the years.

I’ve included an Energy Medicine technique from Donna Eden’s Energy Medicine Kit below for you to try. It focuses on the forehead stress points. Some benefits from this hold include - relief from stress or sadness, relaxation, interruption of fight or flight response, and help thinking more clearly. Let me know how it works for you!
